OPEN BURNING Spring of 2010
An open burning period for parcels 2 ha (4.94 acres) or larger, with an approved burning permit, and only on days when the "Venting Index" is 55 or greater, is scheduled for Monday, March 15, 2010 to Thursday, April 15th, 2010. Only prunings and non-compostable garden refuse may be burned. Grass, leaves, unseasoned "green" wood, and any other prohibited material shall not be burned. Permits can be obtained from the District of Coldstream Municipal Office, at 9901 Kalamalka Road, Coldstream.
AS OF APRIL 16th, 2010, ALL BURNING IS PROHIBITED UNTIL MARCH 15th, 2011.
