Spring Thaw and Flooding, Sand and Sandbags
District of Coldstream crews are monitoring spring runoff / creek levels as the spring thaw advances.
Sand and sand bags have been placed at the following sites for residents in danger of flooding:
- Kalamalka Road – across from Postill Drive in the wide parking area
- Lavington Area - on School Road across from Jeffers Park
- Westkal Road, at the Kickwillie Loop Road intersection
If an emergency should arise due to flooding, please call the Public Works Department at 250-550-1505 Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, or after hours at 250-542-7600.
